Looking at printing presses, the trend toward web-to-roll digital printing remains strong.<\/span><\/span> Machines from HP, Canon, and Kodak are being used in an increasing number of areas within the printing industry, such as book and calendar production.<\/span><\/span> Their use is still primarily economically viable for small and medium print runs.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In book production and post-press, the integration of machines into production lines is gaining further importance.<\/span><\/span> For example, Smyth’s DX-80 thread sewing machine<\/a> can be combined with a cover gluing machine, a Horizon BQ-500 perfect binder, and the HT-300 three-knife trimmer, all from the same manufacturer.<\/span><\/span> The combination of the Smyth DX-80 Plus<\/a> with the Canon Titan 6330 digital printing press also promises excellent results.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
